Stop, Camera, Action!

In UK there are a lot of cctv cameras,  how many is alot? Well from 1 statistic there is one camera for every 11 people in the UK and that is still increasing.
In UK back in 2012 there were more than 6000 speed cameras and by now 2014 that number has increased no doubt.
Most vans and police cars have cameras built in for Speed detection and licence plate recognition.
With so many cameras on our streets is there a problem?
With new software and camera updates that will check your tax discs, where will this stop.
The council has its own rules about what it deems is wrong and who can get a ticket. If you argue it’s in court and very unlikely you will win.
The last good thing to happen in England was the stopping of rouge parking clampers,  they simply abused the loop holes and took money when most people didn’t even see the signs as they were not visible enough.
The conclusion is things are happening but slowly,  and all the time the government is gaining more state powers all in the name of public safety. Who gives them these powers,  we do the public.
